Milestones Mental Health Agency, located in Uptown New Orleans, is a mental health rehabilitation agency for children and adolescents with severe emotional/ behavioral disorders. Our professionals provide mental health services in the home, school and other community locations. Our program is funded by Medicaid and monitored by the Medicaid Behavioral Health Section (MBHS).
Milestones is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) for the following identified programs : Behavioral Health: Children and Adolescents. This accreditation process is used in major hospitals and mental health agencies across the nation and the standards we adhere to are the same.
The founder and director, Stacey Griffin, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the Tulane School of Social Work in 1995. She has been working in the field with children and families since then. The clinical staff consists of mental health professionals only (licensed and non-licensed counselors and social workers, as well as a contract Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist). Background checks & drug testing are performed to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.
